My cousin, who graciously let me stay with her this past weekend, has an amazing view of the sunset from her home. I started this painting from a photograph that she captured, but then made up my own version of the colors and effects of the sunset. Now that she is in possession of this painting that I made for her for Hanukkah, I can post it here.
I believe our love of the sunsets started with Grandma Sylvia always sending us out to look at the lovely sunsets, until it was her grandchildren who would say "Grandma look at the sunset". A great family tradition that I hope gets passed down to future generations. I love all of Rachelle's posts of her beautiful sunsets from her lovely home across the beach and I look forward to more of Bryan's versions.
